+ + + Targeting the subtalar joint!
What happens directly under the subtalar joint with the foot during movement and while bending and torsional load appears?
This question can now be answered with our new sensor arrangement – a new measuring area directly underneath the subtalar joint.
Already small changes in the load, e.g. caused by changes on the knee or foot, can be shown with those new sensor array. That´s how changes of the motion sequence can be evaluated to get a better understanding of e.g. supination and pronation or research and development in the field of shoes can be done.

+ + + AUTHORISATION AS MEDICAL AID BY THE GKV-SPITZENVERBAND (GERMAN HEALTH INSURANCES) WITH vebitoSCIENCE
A study of DARCO and the Laboratory of Biomecanics of the University of Applied Sciences met the expectations of the GKV-Spitzenverband and the new product DARCO Relief Dual was authorised as medical aid. The questions of how much the post-operative shoe DARCO Relief Dual supports the forefoot could be answerded by measurements with vebitoSCIENCE. Those questions were not answerable with pressure measurements.
We congratulate DARCO to this great success and are glad that the data of our vebitoSCIENCE is now accepted by the German health insurance funds.
